Applications Engineer Our continued growth at Sputtering Components has created a new career opportunity. We are seeking an applications engineer to help support our current growth. With the support of the design team, the applications engineer will translate customer requirements into product offerings. The applications engineer will assist in startup at the customer site if needed.

Job Duties
ü Responsible for translating customer requirements into designs ü Responsible for working with assigned designers to transfer fabrication requirements to production ü Responsible for on-time, correct and complete delivery of assigned orders ü Responsible for achieving margins on assigned orders ü Responsible for customer satisfaction ü Responsible for equipment startup and training at the customer site
Basic Requirements
ü 2-year degree in related field ü Knowledge of sputtering processes ü Experience with vacuum equipment design ü Knowledge of magnetron cathodes, rotary cathodes preferred ü Knowledge of market areas such as architectural glass, solar, and display ü Ability to travel up to 20%
Beneficial, but not required
ü Experience with SolidWorks ü Fluency in a foreign language; Chinese or German preferred.
