SCI ships 3,000th end block, a new corporate milestone
Sputtering Components, Inc., one of the leading rotary cathode manufacturers announced that it has shipped its 3,000th end block.
“This is a great accomplishment for our company,” said John Schmeling, Director of Sales.
Since launching their products in 2001, SCI has served the thin film community throughout the world with its innovative products.
“Our specialization has always been our end blocks, both internal mount and external mount,” said Dan Crowley, founder of SCI. “We knew our products would serve our customers well as we built them with our customers in mind."
The end blocks require very little maintenance, which can be done at the customer worksite and by their maintenance employees. SCI end blocks have proven so reliable that SCI now offers a 2-year ‘no-service’ guarantee on most of its end block products.
In addition to end blocks, SCI manufactures a line of magnetics, including the most recent addition of the Remotely Adjustable Magnet Bar or RAM-Bar™.
